Fra Angelico and the Rise of the Florentine Renaissance

The restoration of the Prado’s Annunciation, painted by Fra Angelico in 1425–26 for the Dominican monastery at Fiesole, is the occasion for this display of around 40 works, which compares the Florentine master with contemporaries such as Masaccio and Donatello.
