The Sculpture Park

Madhavendra Palace, Jaipur

NOW CLOSED

The Sculpture Park at Madhavendra Palace, Nahargarh Fort, aims to turn the palace into an art gallery dedicated to renowned Indian and international artists. The inaugural exhibition is curated by Peter Nagy, Director of Nature Morte Art Ltd, as part of an annual programme. Opening this December, artworks by fifteen Indian and nine international artists have been selected to be exhibited at the Palace, including work by: Vikram Goyal, Subodh Gupta, Evan Holloway, Jitish Kallat, Bharti Kher, Thukral & Tagra, and Asim Waqif. This partnership is the first of its kind in India, a collaboration between the government and a range of sponsors and donors, intended to bring a contemporary edge to India’s heritage properties. Rajasthan is especially rich in architecture and is home to some of the oldest and most famous forts and palaces in the world. Find out more about the opening of The Sculpture Park from Saat Saath Arts’ website.
