Ella Bril is a figurative painter working between studios in the Netherlands and Spain. Her first solo show in the UK, ‘Motherhood | Luminous Origins’, is presented by MTArt Agency at TM Gallery in London. During Frieze week, Arjun Sajip, digital editor at Apollo, spoke to Bril about her beginnings as an artist, the painters who inspire her and the process behind her deeply personal work.
