Audrey Yeo

Audrey Yeo began working as a gallerist in London before returning to her country of birth, Singapore, where she set up Yeo Workshop in 2013. Since then Yeo has focused on promoting South East Asian artists, including the Balinese artist Citra Sasmita, whose contemporary reimagining of traditional Kamasan painting has brought her to global attention in recent years, with presentations this year at the Sharjah Biennial and a solo exhibition at the Barbican in London. At the start of 2025 Yeo launched a year-long programme of events aimed at celebrating Singaporean art; this has included artist talks, panel discussions and exhibitions as well as educational programs such as life drawing classes aimed at encouraging greater community engagement in the arts. As president of the Art Galleries Association Singapore, Yeo has spearheaded the launch of the S.E.A Focus art fair and the Julius Baer Next Generation Art Prize for South East Asian digital artists. She also leads Singapore Gallery Month, a multiple-venue event that seeks to elevate Singapore’s emerging art scene.
