Tristram Hunt has been director of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London since 2017. From 2010–17 he was the MP for Stoke-on-Trent Central and was shadow secretary of state for education from 2013–15.
Hunt has a doctorate in Victorian history from the University of Cambridge and has presented radio and television programmes for the BBC and Channel 4. His books include Ten Cities That Made an Empire (2014) and The Radical Potter: Josiah Wedgwood and the Transformation of Britain (2021).
