The six museums shortlisted for the £100,000 Art Fund Prize for the Museum of the Year 2014 have been announced. The prize was established in 2003 and is awarded annually to recognise the very best of the UK’s museums. The Art Fund has supported the prize since 2008. The winner will be announced in a ceremony at the National Gallery in London on 9 July 2014. Click on any image to view the shortlist.
