The summer offering from Modern Art Oxford (MAO) takes the form of a seasonably relaxed series of performance art events and residencies, accompanied by newly-commissioned works that include sonic sculptures by Julie Freeman and a colourful light-filled pavilion by Harold Offeh (until 29 October). Meanwhile, its ‘Creatives in Residence’ programme invites five visiting artists to share insights into their practice, from choreography to performance art, and develop plans for MAO’s future programming for local communities via a host of interactive projects.
