Alberto was by no means the only talented artist in the Giacometti clan. This display at Fondation Maeght in Saint-Paul de Vence, west of Nice, offers a rare chance to see his gaunt bronzes alongside sculptures of an altogether more light-hearted nature by his brother Diego (including a delightful feline maître d’); maquettes by his architect brother Bruno; post-Impressionist paintings by his father Giovanni; and Symbolist designs by Giovanni’s cousin Augusto. The exhibition runs from 3 July–14 November; find out more from the Fondation Maeght’s website.
