Timothy Potts

Timothy Potts has been the Director of the J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles, since 2012. Prior to this, he was the Director of the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, Australia (1994–98); of the Kimbell Art Museum, Forth Worth, Texas (1998–2007); and of the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge (2008–12). He is a specialist in the art and archaeology of the ancient Near East and Mediterranean.
