The Bindings of Mary Louise Reynolds
Reynolds, who moved to Paris from America in 1919, was a member of the Surrealist movement who trained under the Parisian master bookbinder Pierre Legrain. Her own bookbinding work, which she applied to publications given to her by Surrealist colleagues, is relentlessly surprising and inventive.
