Koudelka is best known for his photographs of Czechoslovakia during the Warsaw Pact invasion of 1968, which forced the artist’s exile from the country. This retrospective – the first US museum show devoted to the photographer since 1988 – celebrates his work, from his early images of Roma settlements to more recent large-scale panoramas.
