Re-inventing everyday objects as sculptural artworks, this exhibition reflects upon the history of book art through a selection of key examples from the 1960s to the present day. ‘Odd Volumes’ focuses on the book’s changing role in society, the relationship between form and content and the physical interaction between the viewer and the object.
This student-curated showcase includes work by acclaimed figures such as Olafur Eliasson, Yoko Ono, and Dieter Roth, and is drawn from a major collection donated to the gallery by Allan Chasanoff.
