The 26th edition of the London Art Fair offers modern British and contemporary art from major galleries, as well as showcasing emerging international talent in its Art Projects area, and 50 contemporary photographic works in the guest-curated Photo50 display. A series of talks and events will accompany the fair, including ‘Building and the Landscape in Modern British Painting’, chaired by Apollo’s editor.

Building and the Landscape in Modern British Painting

Thomas Marks, editor of Apollo, will introduce speakers and chair a panel discussion on architecture, infrastructure and the landscape in Modern British painting. Expect lighthouses, pylons, power stations, and railways – and the life they took on in the imaginative worlds of artists including Eric Ravilious, Tristram Hillier and Prunella Clough.
